Selby Striders held the AkzoNobel Wistow 10 mile road race on Sunday 23rd October 2011. This was the thrid running of the 10 mile race, put on to replace the Selby Half Marathon.
Congratulations to all entrants, especially to men's winner Ian Fisher of Otley AC, and to ladies winner Dawn Broom from Barnsley Harriers.

The race route starts at the village of Wistow and follows a flat figure of eight course. Please click here for a map of the route.
The village of Wistow is about 3 miles north-west of Selby, on the B1223, approximately half way in between Selby and Cawood.

Selby Striders held the first Wistow 10 race on Sunday 13th September 2009. There were around 150 finishers and congratulations to all who completed the race. First home in the male category was Phillip Elliiot-Dick from Knavesmire Harriers, in a time of 57:33. And the first lady home was Alison Bogie from Chapel Allerton Road Runners in 64:15.
