WISTOW 10 MILE ROAD RACE 24TH OCTOBER 2010
Selby Striders will hold the second Wistow 10 mile road race on Sunday 24th October 2010, starting at 11am. Entries are now open, for more details and an entry form please click here.
Club Overview
- Training Training nights for over 16s road running are held on Tuesday and Thursdays from the Abbey Leisure Centre at 6.30pm.
- Races Our members participate in road running and cross country races at a range of distances, from 5km to marathons. Club runners participate in the York and District Road Race League, which is a Summer competition of 10ks on the road. Also, club runners compete each year in the Winter/Spring in the East Yorkshire Cross Country League.
- Junior Athletics Training nights are at Barlby High School at 5pm on Monday and at Selby Rugby Club at 6pm on Wednesday.
- Social A range of informal social events are organized throughout the year from drinks after races to club runs to summer barbecues etc...

Dates of the cross-country races for 2010/11 can be seen by clicking here. The cost will be £10 for the series (buffet lunch inc).
Summer 10k Series
The York Road Race League 10k series has now finished for 2010, with races held at Pocklington, Easingwold, Bishop Wilton, the Knavesmire, Wistow and the handicap race at Stillington. For some photos from each race click here here.
