Selby Striders at parkrun – 16th September 2017

A total of 20 Selby Striders were in action at 6 different parkruns this weekend.

At Pontefract there were 6 Striders out on the course :
Paul Bennett was the first Strider home in 14th (gender position 14th) in 00:21:25 – a parkrun personal best!
Nigel Taylor came home in 41st (gender position 36th) in a time of 00:23:52.
Wendy Ormsby got round in 101st (gender position 14th) in a time of 00:28:11.
Giles Bennett got round in 103rd (gender position 89th) in a time of 00:28:27.
John Kees finished in 106th (gender position 91st) in a time of 00:28:33.
Peter Fox completed the course in 114th (gender position 96th) in a time of 00:28:53.

At Sewerby there were 2 Striders running :
Mark Brooks was the first Strider home in 11th (gender position 11th) in 00:21:45.
Katy Close completed the course in 42nd (gender position 7th) in a time of 00:26:47.

At Goole there were 8 Striders up and ready to race :
Nicholas Tate was the first Strider home in 4th (gender position 4th) in 00:18:18 – a parkrun personal best!
Adrian Craven got round in 21st (gender position 20th) in a time of 00:21:49.
Neil Lawson came home in 30th (gender position 29th) in a time of 00:23:23.
Daniel Popa finished the course in 49th (gender position 43rd) in a time of 00:24:44.
Hannah Priestley ran the 5k in 55th (gender position 7th) in a time of 00:25:42.
Ghysllaine Bodycombe finished in 61st (gender position 9th) in a time of 00:26:36.
Natalie Jackson ran the 5k in 76th (gender position 18th) in a time of 00:27:21.
Helen Craven finished in 127th (gender position 51st) in a time of 00:34:55.

At Huntingdon there were 2 Striders out of bed in time :
Isaac Middup was the first Strider home in 27th (gender position 25th) in 00:21:54.
Steve Middup got round in 30th (gender position 28th) in a time of 00:21:59.

At Doncaster parkrun Felicity Caddick represented the Striders, coming home in 111th place (gender position 28th) in a time of 00:28:28.

At Folkestone parkrun Leslie Melville Sanders flew the Striders’ flag, coming home in 91st place (gender position 77th) in a time of 00:25:24.
